Abstract

The article is devoted to a review of issues of unification of Ukrainian legislation to the legal system of the European Union, where harmonization of education is one of the requirements for candidate countries for membership or partners. Ensuring the compatibility of the educational system with EU standards is an important prerequisite for European integration and partnership with EU countries. One of the key directions of movement towards the European educational space is the harmonization of educational specialties of Ukraine with European specialties. Thus, the harmonization of educational specialties of Ukraine with European standards is an important component of the process of European integration and improvement of the quality of education in the country. This involves ensuring mutual recognition and comparative equivalence of educational programs, raising education standards and requirements for the quality of students' knowledge and skills. It is also noted that among the general directions of adaptation of education, it is necessary to consider ways of adapting the legal higher education of Ukraine to the legal system of the European Union, since the adaptation of the legal higher education of Ukraine to the legal system of the European Union is an important prerequisite for the development of the rule of law, the guarantee of the rights and freedoms of citizens, and the integration of the country into the European legal space. The European Union has its own unique legal principles and standards that must be taken into account in the process of training future lawyers. Emphasis is placed on the fact that a mandatory element of the harmonization of Ukrainian education with the European educational space is the provision of training and advanced training of scientific and pedagogical workers. Harmonization of the training of scientific and pedagogical workers involves the creation of common standards for their training and qualification. It is also noted that advanced training of scientific and pedagogical workers should also be harmonized with European standards. This can be achieved through joint international training programs, participation in international scientific conferences and seminars, exchange of experience with colleagues from other countries.
