NATIONAL IDENTITY AS A FACTOR IN FORMING UKRAINE’S RESILIENCE: A LEGAL DIMENSION

Abstract

The article explores the phenomenon of consolidation as a multidimensional process that unites political will, the volunteer movement, economic justice, and trust in institutions. The concept of resilience transformation is substantiated, namely: from national identity as a key factor, through the stage of solidarization (active defense), to the phase of consolidation (the creation of a new subjectivity). It is determined that under war conditions, identity transforms into an effective mechanism for state self-preservation, where civil society and collective memory play a special role. Analyzing the legislative base of Ukraine, the emphasis is placed on the transition from a reactive model of overcoming crises to a proactive philosophy of life-resilience. It is proven that the further strengthening of the nation depends on the development of a «just economy», support for the middle class, and the development of human potential, which will allow Ukraine not only to stand firm but also to establish itself in the European space. It is emphasized that currently a reimagining of the colonial past and the formation of a modern nation are taking place. Spiritual and cultural resilience in this dimension is the ability of society to filter out the interpretation of history or events artificially created by hostile informational influence through an internal rejection of a foreign worldview and values. The originality of the Ukrainian precedent is emphasized. Consolidation occurred not through coercion, but through conscious partnership interaction between the authorities and the citizen. It is asserted that the cooperation of the Armed Forces and civil society has formed a security model in which culture and historical memory are the basic centers of resistance. It is summarized that the national resilience of Ukraine is a key factor in the stability of the entire European space.
